LAAS GAAL WALL ART.
This branding project was for a wall art consultancy company that I set up with a partner. We aim to add character to your physical shop or workspace. We built this brand from the ground up, worked with other designers, outsourced wallpaper designs and got these into physical spaces such as David Lloyd gyms.
ABOUT THE BRANDING CONCEPT.
Laas Gaal is a cave in Somalia that flaunts some of the earliest known examples of wall art. The logo design takes direct inspiration from the artwork found inside this cave.
Laas Gaal was founded to break away from conventional wallpaper and to see a blank wall as a canvas rather than a hole to fill.

DEVELOPING A VR WALLPAPER.
Working with Shooting Stories ltd, we developed a VR wallpaper that immerses the viewer in an artwork representing the concept of our brand. Using procreate I painted a mural that showcased the view from ‘Laas Gaal’ cave, Somalia. The aim of this was to show the potential of using VR and Wallpaper design together. Exploring how companies can use this to deepen their brand experience and tell their story.
EXPERIENCE IN PRINTING.
Working closely with Ensign ltd in Bedford, Taught me valuable lessons in how different printers work, how to produce textured prints and working with cutters.
